The Dreamhouse Indonesia Foundation with the support from Rotary Club of Jogja Merapi held the Education Center Futsal Day on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Pelle Futsal Babarsari Sleman. This joyful event was attended by 65 children from various partner communities—Tlukan, Sidomulyo, Jogoyudan, and Wonocatur.
As the culminating activity to close a year of dynamic learning at the Education Center, this event was designed to be more than just a football game. It served as a meaningful platform to nurture important values within the children. Through physical movement on the field, the children naturally developed their motor skills and maintained their physical fitness. Beyond that, the futsal match became a fun medium for learning about sportsmanship, teamwork, and mutual respect within a spirit of healthy competition.
The bonds of friendship among children from different communities grew stronger. The warm atmosphere of togetherness during the match and the shared lunch created lasting memories, strengthening their sense of belonging to the Education Center’s activities. This is expected to sustain their enthusiasm and engagement in future programs.
A Series of Meaningful Activities
The day began with participants gathering at 9:30 AM, followed by an opening address that set a positive tone. The core futsal session lasted nearly two hours, filled with laughter, cheers, and unwavering spirit. The event concluded with a communal lunch and group photos, capturing the memories of the camaraderie built throughout the day.

The participation of 65 children in this activity demonstrates that learning through experience and play is highly effective. Dreamhouse believes that moments like these benefit not only physical health but also help shape character, build self-confidence, and enhance social skills among the assisted children.
