BK3S DIY’s 50th Anniversary Celebration Showcases Outstanding and Innovative Social Welfare Organizations — Including Yayasan Rumah Impian Indonesia
The 50th Anniversary Celebration of BK3S DIY highlighted an expo of outstanding and innovative Social Welfare Institutions (LKS), with Yayasan Rumah Impian Indonesia among the featured participants. The event took place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Ambarukmo Plaza, Jl. Laksda Adi Sucipto, Ambarukmo, Catur Tunggal, Depok, Sleman.
BK3S DIY is an independent coordinating body that brings together and supports dozens of Social Welfare Institutions across the Special Region of Yogyakarta. It plays an active role in strengthening collaboration, improving the quality of social services, and building resilient networks of social organizations grounded in humanitarian values and long-term sustainability.
As an LKS serving children in need of special protection, Yayasan Rumah Impian Indonesia presented a variety of creative products, including T-shirts and tote bags designed by the children themselves. The booth also featured paintings and handcrafted artworks made by the children. Adding to the vibrancy of the display, the booth received special support from Henju by Gracy, which exhibited a collection of gold- and silver-plated jewelry creations.
BK3S DIY Chairperson Gusti Kanjeng Ratu Hemas gave special attention to the work showcased by Yayasan Rumah Impian Indonesia, expressing pride in the creativity and innovation demonstrated by participating LKS. She noted that BK3S successfully combines professionalism with local wisdom, ensuring that social work goes beyond administrative duties and embodies a genuine humanitarian spirit rooted in Yogyakarta’s cultural identity.
In addition to showcasing products, Yayasan Rumah Impian Indonesia was also selected to present its impactful work through an afternoon talk show. The session featured former beneficiaries who have successfully moved forward and achieved their dreams, as well as representatives from the foundation’s volunteers and staff who are directly involved in its day-to-day mission.
